I Betta Getta Slamma in ??????

Day two of our BLOGGING CAMPAIGN ACROSS THE COUNTRY and I must tell you...this shit is fun! Indiana was awesome for two reasons: Marchelle's blog is great and Mr. Sock Monkey did NOT run into the maid he apparently deflowered in the 80's. I'm not ashamed to tell you that I was SOME SCARED. Skeletons in your running mates closet can really derail a campaign!

And derailing my campaign is NOT my objective on day two. HOWEVER, visiting Chuck and his blog today in the great state of ALABAMA MAY not help my cause! Chuck is a blogger that I have been following for awhile. Don't know how I found him but I'm glad I did. (Probably shouldn't admit that publicly cuz Chuck's blog is about as far from the PG image I am trying to portray as I can get!)

Chuck's blog is my guilty pleasure...I don't WANT to like it but I can't stop. It's like the crack habit I suspect a certain primate is dealing with. I just can't get enough Chuck. He makes me laugh when I know I shouldn't and leaves me wanting more. (Yeah, Chuck, I said it...you leave me wanting!)

Basically Chuck tells it like it is..and if you don't like it, he doesn't give a shit. And Chuck's sense of humor? Well, let's just say it's slightly left of normal.

This pic COULD have been the only one Chuck sent to represent his state.

But that wouldn't be very Chuck-like. So instead he sent this one along. It really gives you a sense of Chuck....

Chuck was nice enough to include a pic of him and his sister. (she is our Kentucky host who we will "visit" another day!)

Along with the pics, Chuck dutifully completed his homework.

*It's hard to pick just one. I've been blogging for over four years now and there has
been many posts in that time. There are simply too many to choose from. I'm such a fascinating individual and so many parts of my blog chronicles that fact. But if I must pick one I'd have to go with this one READ! It pretty much shows off the wonder that is me.

#2 Tell me one unique/crazy/funny/embarrassing/awe inspiring/wow enhancing/odd think about you. Basically tell me what makes you special. (again, remember you can answer this any way you want - serious or funny or crazy or
boring,etc.)

*Hmmm, let's see....something about me that makes me special...well, I'm a father raising two wonderful kids pretty much on my own. I fought for, and won, full custody of both my special off spring and seriously know what it's like to be both Mom and Dad. I'm also heavily into manscaping. Ain't nothing better than keeping your junk nice and tidy! That's what I always say.*

#3 Tell me one INTERESTING thing about your state. (every state MUST have
something interesting about it, right?)

*Alabama is where American Idol winners are born! We've got Ruben, Taylor Hicks and runner up Bo Bice. We were also the first capital of The Confederate States of American (rest in peace sweet Dixieland).

***One more quick thing...please send prayers to Ness and her daughter KJ - KJ is facing surgery in the near future while also fighting an unknown infection. The entire family has been on a constant roller coaster of ups and downs and are nervous to say the least. Ness would appreciate your thoughts and prayers. I will update as I get more info.
