Is It Just Me Or...Week 21!!!

Is it just me or...does the name and cartoon picture IMMEDIATELY curb your interest in trying these? Assuming you were ever insane enough to want to try low sugar sweetened black beans. But if you were curious enough to give these a go, I ASSUME you changed your mind when you saw the gorilla picking a winner. Right? Right?

Is it just me or...does everyone else get told AT LEAST 3x that your hair looks fantastic ON THE DAY YOU ARE GETTING IT CUT? Can't they tell that I'm at my wits end and can't do a damn thing with my hair and are ready to kill someone if I DON'T get it cut RIGHT NOW!!! Why then, is THAT the day, everyone thinks I look awesome??? WTF?

Is it just me or...is everyone that's in a VERY HAPPY, LONG TERM, WOULDN'T TRADE IT FOR ANYTHING relationship, tempted to have both you and your spouse log on to MATCH.COM or eHARMONY, fill out their questionnaire and see if you get matched up with each other??? Well, aren't you all dying to do that? Cuz I sure am. Unfortunately, John doesn't feel the same way. He apparently doesn't see the merit in my idea. Can't imagine why. I think it's a brilliant idea...in the name of science, of course.

Is it just me or...are other moms/wives occasionally astonished at the sheer VOLUME of what comes out of the men in their lives? Or the girth? Or the length? Can I possibly be the only one that gets scared at what I unhappily stumble upon once in a blue moon? And I DO mean scared. I think I might even need therapy to get over this last "find."

Is it just me or...are other people bothered that they somehow retain TOTALLY stupid and TOTALLY unimportant facts in their head? Like why the hell do I STILL remember that John's boss of a million years ago LOVED Stevie Nicks? It's totally annoying to INSTANTLY think of a man you barely ever knew EVERY TIME you hear Ms. Nicks on the radio. And why does my brain refuse to forget what graduation song the sister of a former friend of mine sang at her high school graduation? I don't even TALK to this former friend anymore let alone her sister. Damn stupid brain....

Tuesdays Aren't ALWAYS Tasteful

Missed Morbid Monday yesterday so slipping in a tiny TASTELESS TUESDAY. Tuesdays aren't NORMALLY tasteless but today's an exception.

Sometimes, we just HAVE to make an exception.

I KNOW it's a cake. And I KNOW people enjoy giving this cake (or similarly shaped cakes) to people as gifts. And I'm SURE it's yummy. But God as my witness, I could not, would not, will not EVER eat ANYTHING that looks like pile of poo....especially not a pile of poo with corn/nuts dotting it's surface. Nope. Not ever. NEVER.

He had me until I noticed what his lips were up to. Yep, that's when he lost me.

Recipes based on semen. SEMEN. Recipes. Based. On. Semen. Recipes for food. Food is eaten. Food filled with semen. Need I say more??

Are these legs covered in ants? Or a really nasty cropping of skin tags? Either way, I think I'm gonna hurl.

I'd rather lick an ashtray. A really, really dirty ashtray.

Ok, this one's not so much tasteless as just plain adorable!! I mean, who DOESN'T love a vertically challenged S&M fanatic???

Ridiculously disturbing on so many levels. But disturbing or not, I STILL need to
know...is he swallowing that DOWN or horfing it UP???

Florida In Photos

Home from a great vacation in mostly sunny Florida. We had a wonderful time hanging out as a whole family for at least part of the week. Spent time park hopping, sitting by the pool, visiting with good friends and EATING!! Who knew vacation consisted of so much eating!!! :)

Didn't think I took that many pics but guess I did.

Got to hang out with Michelle for the second year in a row!! I was soooo happy to see her again! And she was soooo happy to finally meet CJ!

John's and my bedroom. And yes, that IS the greatest jacuzzi ever surrounded by columns. You can see John's reflection on the ginormous granite and glass shower beyond the tub. Didn't take a pic of the bidet but trust me, it was there!
