That's Stickin' It To Ya!

Hey Hallie's Readers!

Wow! Morbid Monday!

Not only did Hallie agree to let me guest post while she was off enjoying sun and sand, I have the honour of trying to tackle Morbid Monday!

WooHoo!

I'll be upfront in saying this was something entirely new for me.

I don't think I have one pic on my entire blog as disgusting as I'd find here on any MM ;-)

But I wanted to give it a shot!

And couldn't let the wiener lady down!

So, I immediately jumped through possible topics in my head.

Bugs!

No, not gross enough.

Bugs in food.

Yeah!

Bugs and other stuff in food.

But, surprising, I couldn't find a lot of pics of 'things' found in food other than this little guy.

Not many that had already been disproved as Urban Legends.

Next idea.

Bug bites?

Or what happens to bug bites that turn into infestations in the body.

Like this spider bite on the woman's breast below.

Nah, I was sure Hallie had covered bug bites on the body in the past.

What about bugs IN the body.

Parasites?
Yup! Already done.!

Hallie has not left many disgusting subjects unblogged people!

Finally, it was my kids who unknowingly gave me today's topic.

A few nights ago, they were in the basement playing one-on-one b-ball.

I walked downstairs, and saw one of them with a Popsicle stick in his mouth.

My immediate reaction was "HEY! Take that out of your mouth NOW, before you fall and drive it through your head!"

Then, I had one of those Raven Simone' I'm having a vision! ' moments, and thought ... Hallie's MM post.

Impalement!

You know, impalement, the reason your mother always told you not to run with scissors in your hand.

You can therefore thank my boys for today's Morbid Monday Post ...

'THAT'S STICKIN' IT TO YA!'

Nail gun vs finger.
This next guy was injured while on a bike ride.

He's smiling.

SMILING people!

I'm guessing the pain management meds had kicked in by then.

Let's get a closer look at that leg ...

OH. MAN. OUCH!

And for today's educational portion of the post, a closer look at why ...

Crime DOESN'T pay!
This guy got 'caught up' during an attempted robbery. He didn't get any further than this before the police caught up to him.

Let's get a closer look at that ASS!
Uh ... yeah ... Buddy ... was it worth it?

Another guy caught, attempting to make it over the wall during a robbery.

Apparently he hung there all night before someone found him early the next morning.

With an unlit cigarette hanging out of his mouth.

Which a passerby had given him the night before.

Gave him the smoke, but didn't help him down.

Or, give him a light.

Damn.

Another thief caught in the act!

This one was apparently attempting to sue the police dept, saying they were the ones who pulled on his leg, and dragged him down, and ultimately onto the spikey part of the fence.

While he was trying to flee the scene of the robbery.

Um. Yeah.

That's GOTTA hurt!

This poor guy was just trying to catch a baseball. I'm guessing he was out the rest of the season.

The next two were accident victims (who survived).

Caution ... the next one is EXTREMELY graphic. Taken from a trauma website and Not suitable for all viewers.

I'm going to assume he's still alive since they've got a breathing bag on him.

Leave.

Now!

Last chance.

I warned you!

And for those of you who are simply gluttons for punishment, here is a VIDEO of doctors removing a post which has gone through and impaled TWO men injured during an accident!!!!!!

EXTREMELY GRAPHIC!!!!

This. This is why I would never make it as a doctor.

And after trying to pull together this post, why from now on, I will be sticking with posting the tales of chaos and mayhem of being a single mom trying to raise two pre-teen boys.

There is much less blood, gore and hurl to deal with on a weekly basis. ;-)

But this, this was a lot of FUN!

Thank you so much Hallie!

I've gotten many smiles here at WWW and many lurching stomachs during MM.

I hope I was able to provide a few lurches for your readers today.

Yours are pretty disgusting shoes to fill ya know.

And I know.

I went back through the archives! ;-)

Every single disgusting one of them.

I'll be sending you the bill for my therapy.
***This AMAZING MM post was brought to you by Kim over at Kim's Korner. Way to go Kim! I am UBERLY impressed!!!!

That was absolutely LOVELY! I really like the pic of the little lizard in the peas (I think those are peas?!). He's just cute! The guy with the pole through his face? Not so cute.

I give you an A+ for this Morbid Monday- Gag reflex came in a few times. I have seen the nail gun accident before- luckily I have never had it happen to me but it is one of my biggest fears in my life- but its so bad to look at in person.

Great Post!

I avoid MM but chanced it because you are guest blogging. Hallie has definitely rubbed off on you. You are a natural for MM! Oh ugh puke.

I have yet to watch the video. I thought I'd comment first in case I had to go throw up.

Um....great job!

OH. MY. GOD. I say you "nailed" this MM. Knocked it out of the park. I think my stomach was in my mouth while looking at these. Especially the guy with something through his freaking head!!!!!! AHHHHH

You did Hallie proud, I'm sure.

When I was growing up, I used to have gross-out contests with my sister. I am so glad you are not my sister, I never would have won. I did leave a Morbid Monday post over on my blog dedicated to you, though. Go check it out at chamomile-tea.blogspot.com.

I try to avoid MM, but I had to see what a guest blogger would come up with. Eww, you 'nailed' it. Pun intended. I think I will check you out in real life, not MM life!

Awesome work, Kim! I was squirming in my seat and choking back the stomach acid, two signs that you did your job too well!

(Hope your vacation is going well, Hallie!)

I never thought anyone could top Hallie's MM posts. I was horribly wrong. Well done Kim! Not only did I almost lose my lunch a few times but you grossed out my husband as well! Too bad the video was removed, we were just sick enough to click on it to see what the big finale was.

I think I threw up a little in my mouth.

But it leaked out of the hole left from impaling my head on my bottle of water I was drinking when I viewed the last picture.

I just couldn't view the video. YET!

Great post Kim!

Um, all I can say is you did Hallie proud with those nasty disgusting pictures, lol.
Impalement is NOT something I would ever want to have to come face to face with!

The picture of the guy with a tree branch through his face, I don't know if he lived or not but, a few years ago a friend of mine who was in the Marine's had a friend that was in a car accident on a small bridge (one crossing a stream or such). He was actually in the "duty van" and the driver crashed into a tree or something. The tree went through my friend's skull. He lived and is doing fine. He has a huge scar on the back of his head of course. Probably the only time I can give Navy docs kudos...if they were even the ones that got the tree out of his skull.

I'm almost positive that "spider bite" on the womans boob is actually just an infection. It looks like an untreated mastitis. Google it, some of the pictures are vicious.

In the US the infections never get this bad, but in 3rd world countries you get that pic.

That's not a spider bite on the woman's breast. It's bot fly larva that have burrowed into her after the adult laid eggs.

SEARCH AWAY!!!! (perhaps for a Prada bag for your favorite blogger?)
